This weekend we had a yard sale at our little Cabin. Hubs manned the goods on Friday and i worked on Saturday. Here are some lovely pics of him trying to sell our junk...

The funny thing about our garage sale was the weeks leading up to it hubs kept saying..."i don't think we have enough stuff." And he kept trying to sell things we use so that we had more to sell, and i kept saying "trust me we have plenty, did you see all that stuff in the shed??" Our shed was half full of CRAP. When we started setting up i realized we didn't have much stuff... But after we got all the furniture out we had a lot more which was good. This picture was taken early Friday morning we hadn't gotten any of the furniture out yet.
After the garage sale i loaded everything we didn't sell into the fit and took it to Goodwill. I feel so good having all that stuff out of the house! A little fall purge if you will :)

I really need to have a yard sale. I am not sure how successful it would be though! Did ya'll sell alot??
Yeah we got rid of a good bit and made about $140 but after the sale i just loaded everything up in our car and took it straight to goodwill drop off. And Rob was out there from 8am-12pma and on sat i was there from 8am-1pm so it wasn't like it took up our whole weekend. ya know? You should do it, maybe see if some of your neighbors wnat to join too.
i'm about to have one this saturday, but my thing is i'm not DESPERATE to sell, so i'm scared people will think i'm "overpriced"...i just want it to be like a "craigslist sale"...things i'd sell on CL, rather than a "Yard sale" if that even makes sense!!!! i just know i can justify reusing some stuff rather than junk it for so cheap! but hey, if i can get a littleeee cash, it somehow makes up for it?! call me crazy...
