National Thriftshop Day!

In honor of National Thriftshop day and since i am trying to save money and cannot go shopping today i thought i would show you some fabulous things i have found thrift shopping in the past...all from thrift stores and garage sales.

I found these large turqouise jars for $3.50 total, i use them to hold my sugar and flour.

These dishes i found for $12. My friend Linds was with me, she gave them to me as a shower gift for my wedding. There are 4 big plates, 4 bowls and 4 salad plates all for 12 bucks! We use them everyday and they have yet to chip.

These cups that match the dishes (above) were .59 each. There are 7 so that's about $4.

I got this organizing station a while back. It was a creamy white with a large palm tree in the middle, i painted it black hot glued some corks in the middle to use as a pin board and put scrapbook paper on each side. We use it for bills and other odds and ends. It cost $12

I got this Southern Living flower holder for $3.88, really it could be used for mail or anything but i put it on our front porch and filled it with fake flowers.

I got this frame for $1.98. Didn't even have to do anything to it!

This vase was .99

I use this jar in my laundry room to hold my change it was .99

This red frame i got for .59

This cheese plate i got for $2.88 with the glass, and the spool underneath it i got for .39. i painted the plate and spool both white and filled it with potpourri from the dollar store. total price $4.50

I got this jar for .99 and wrapped hemp around it to give it a little texture.

This bowl was .39, I love the old worn look and the bright color!

I got the bottom trunk for $10 at a thrift store, and the top one for $2 at a garage sale.

These candle sticks were $4, for both at a garage sale.

Hope you enjoyed the finds! Have you found anything you love for a great price?

My favorite is the frame, baby cake dish, and the teal cooking pot. You're so creative. I think it will make you a millionaire one day!

Love the cloche, what a great find. The GW around here is getting a little too pricey for me. I think they know what we're all up to ;)
