I'm back, again.

It has been almost a year since I have blogged. So many things have happened since then. Every time i think about writing a post i feel overwhelmed with how much i haven't post about, how much i have missed.

This blog started as a way to document our journey doing p90x when we were living in our little apartment our first year of marriage then we moved into our first house and it evolved into a decorating blog and after i had Baby Zion as we lovingly call him, i was torn between my new job as a mother and wanting to blog about everything that came with that, and keeping with the decorating theme. My passions were changing and i wasn't sure my readers were ready for that so i just stopped all together. Then i realized that this blog whether it was about p90x or decorating it was about documenting our life as a family that was constantly changing. And my blog should change with it.

So i'm back.

I'm not going to try to go back and fill you in on 7 months of my absence but i will give you a brief synopsis. My grandmother passed last June, hence my pause in the blog world. It was one of the hardest loses i have experienced. My husband started a new job that the Lord has blessed more than we ever could have imagined. And my little guy turned one last month.

This past year has been full of growth for me as a wife, mother, and follower of Jesus. I continued reading blogs (even though i wasn't participating) and i loved how encouraging these women were in my walk with Jesus, as being mothers who needed grace and wives who respected their husbands. I want to be a part of that.

I'm not great with words but being a mom is a hard thing for our generation so if i can encourage one mother that if she follows what the Lord is leading her to do for her family then she is should never feel guilty, undeserving or inadequate then that's enough for me.

So with all that being said i will still be updating on decorating and such but i will also be verbalizing my struggles and growth as a mom. Hope you are on board!
